I have had some good ideas requested. However, the database is not adequate to perform them. I need to go back and make some major changes. Also, I have another idea that I'd like to implement either as a separate website or part of this one. It may seem like I'm gone, but actually I will be very busy. Trading will remain operational throughout this time. :)

I registered a Class 1 SSL certificate with Startcom. Instead of building an administration tool, I found a good GUI editor that will work for now. I've decided that registering a LLC may be a good idea, but it's a serious amount of money, so I'm hesitant.

Yesterday was our first real trading session, but nothing was actually traded until today. It went very well. This next week I'm going to spend time building an administration tool to automate things. Right now I'm editing the database from the prompt.

I've decided to start taking deposits for trade. I think this will encourage more interest from the community while keeping me motivated to continue on. This is by no means a finished project. You will find instructions on the website to guide you through the deposit, trade, withdraw process. I enabled SSL for this update.

The market ran well. It still needs work, but I think it could handle a small amount of real trade. I'm going to take a few days and work on the website some more. I need to change the way it's interfacing to the database and look at some security issues. If all goes well, I'd like to take some PayPal and Bitcoin deposits soon.

Time to test. The market should be more stable and the code is a lot cleaner. Let's see what happens! I had to delete the previous market data for the change. I also changed the website styling somewhat. I'm learning CSS as I go.

I decided to keep the market off-line until I get the update finished. A memory leak in matplotlib was causing it to crash. I hope to have it finished sometime late tomorrow, so the next trading day will be on the 11, hopefully.

I'm still not satisfied with the market program. It crashed twice today. I'm going to spend a few days on a new version. In the meantime, I will continue to run this version.

You can now contact me at bitcoinmarket@gmail.com
I added an Intraday chart that should update every 30 seconds. You will have to manually refresh. The previous Intraday data wasn't cleared this morning. It should clear from now on.

I deleted the old database. Those that registered before will have to re-register.  I added a Historical graph that should auto update at the end of each trading day.  Also, you can now download Intraday and Historical Quotes from the Quotes page.  Thanks to all those taking notice!
